Code of Conduct

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Excellence in Digital Banking 7.0 brings together people from many organisations, countries and backgrounds. We want everyone who takes part, in person or online, to have a safe, respectful and productive experience. This code of conduct applies to all participants, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, staff and volunteers at every part of the event, including sessions, breaks, social events and online channels.

1. Expected behaviour

  • Treat everyone with respect and courtesy, including those whose views differ from yours.
  • Engage constructively; critique ideas, not people.
  • Respect speakers’ time and the session rules set by moderators.
  • Follow the instructions of event staff and venue security, including safety rules.
  • Respect confidentiality: do not share information labelled as confidential or under the Chatham House Rule.

2. Unacceptable behaviour

  • Harassment, intimidation or discrimination in any form, including on the basis of sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, religion or belief.
  • Offensive comments, images or content in talks, presentations, chats or social media.
  • Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention, stalking or following.
  • Photographing or recording people who have asked not to be recorded, or recording sessions where recording is not permitted.
  • Disrupting sessions, or aggressive sales tactics and unsolicited pitching.
  • Using participant contact details for unsolicited marketing.

3. Online participation

The same standards apply in live streams, chats, Q&A tools and virtual networking. Do not share access links or recordings without permission.

4. Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, please contact a member of event staff on site or write to sabrina.necidova@digitalstrategycongress.com. Reports are handled promptly and in confidence. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who makes a report in good faith.

5. Consequences

The organiser may take any action it considers appropriate, from a warning up to removal from the event or exclusion from future events without refund. Where necessary we will involve venue security or the authorities.
